![]() ![]() ![]() That way, instead of spending literal weeks finding more dye, or having to mine and mob farm in order to get lapis and bone-and more importantly, having to waste those extremely important resources on aesthetics-we could have a fairly easy way to get a purely-cosmetic object, which keeps the basic balance that's needed. Maybe the numbers could be tweaked but I think that's the easiest, most balanced way for it to happen. So I think the best thing, would be to have a stack of wool create one dye. I mean, I had to spend five days looking for a cactus-and even then, I found it by accident in an igloo, not in desert or mesa biomes or anything like that. I don't think it'd work if one wool gives one dye even though that'd technically speaking be a reversal of the crafting recipe, the fact that one dye can give you infinite dyed wool from a sheep means that one dye from one wool would be extremely OP. What if some amount of wool could be converted back to dye? It's been a far more grueling process than I expected, and although it was a blast, I really would prefer never having to do it again. I've spent the past two weeks trying to get all the dyes in a survival game. This is my last suggestion for a bit thanks everyone for dealing with my.what is it, four posts at once? I'm pretty stoked about this /r/, I've been hoping for something exactly like this place for years.
